The Gozney Dome (Gen 2) is the smaller of the two Gen 2 Dome ovens, supplied ready for UK bottled LPG. The same chamber also runs on wood or charcoal. This product is available in Bone and Off Black. It arrives assembled. You set it in place, fit the flue and connect the temperature display.

The cooking floor is about 2,569 cm². That is room for one 16 inch pizza or two 10 inch pizzas, or for one 10 by 14 inch pan plus two 8 inch pans. The stated ceiling is 500°C. Gozney rates the floor as more than 40% larger than the original Dome.

Specifications

  • Outside: width 826 mm (32.5 in) × depth 652 mm (25.7 in) × height 986 mm (38.8 in), measured with the flue fitted
  • Chamber: width 604 mm (23.8 in) × depth 498 mm (19.6 in) × height 226 mm (8.9 in)
  • Mouth: width 419 mm (16.5 in) × height 133 mm (5.2 in)
  • Weight: 62 kg (136.7 lb) for the oven. 68.4 kg (150.8 lb) in the carton
  • Carton: length 935 mm (36.8 in) × width 761 mm (33 in) × height 603 mm (23.7 in)
  • Floor: 30 mm (1.2 in) cordierite stone that lifts out without tools
  • Fuel: UK LPG through the hose and regulator in the box, plus wood or charcoal. This model is not a piped natural-gas oven
  • Heat: up to 500°C. Three layers of insulation wrap the body and the floor. The gas flame travels in a rolling path around the chamber and is set in steps with a push-and-turn igniter
  • Materials: ceramic coating over aluminised steel on the shell. Burners and internal metal parts are 304 stainless steel
  • Display: shows air temperature and stone temperature, with a cook timer. Two meat probes plug into the dock so two cuts can be watched at once. The dock uses a rechargeable USB-C battery that unclips. An AAA cell for the igniter is already fitted
  • Flue: a longer flue, shaped for draw and for less soot
  • Service: internal parts are laid out so they can be reached for repair or later changes

Care & Maintenance

On the outside, use a cleaner that is not caustic and contains no bleach. Wash the area with warm water and washing-up liquid, using a sponge or a cloth that will not scratch, then dry it with paper towel.

The useful way to clear the chamber is to burn residue away. Once the oven is above 350°C it starts to self-clean. Leave it at that heat for about three hours so food stuck to the surfaces breaks down. When the oven is cool, loosen anything left with a soft brush and light pressure, so you do not damage the lining, then vacuum the loose dust with a plastic nozzle.

5 Year Warranty

Gozney’s own cover on this oven starts at one year. Register the oven with Gozney within 60 days of purchase and that manufacturer cover is extended to five years. Registration does not replace rights you already have by law.

Pizza Solutions sells to businesses. Our returns terms are separate from the manufacturer warranty and are set out in the refund policy.

Shipping

Delivery is arranged after the order. Any lead time shown here is an estimate. The delivery choices for your address appear at checkout or on your quotation, and a date is fixed only when we confirm it in writing.

Unless we have agreed something else, delivery is to the kerb. The carrier does not bring the goods inside, up steps or off the pallet, and does not unpack or install them. Pallet loads normally arrive on a large vehicle, so there needs to be a firm place it can reach. If access is restricted, contact us before dispatch.

Details are in the Pizza Solutions shipping policy. We do not apply another brand’s shipping prices to these orders.

Frequently asked questions

What assembly is required?

None of the main oven. It is built before it ships. You still need about four people to lift it, then you fit the flue and connect the temperature display.

How much does it weigh?

62 kg on its own, and 68.4 kg in the packaging.

Can the pizza stone be removed?

Yes. The floor is a 30 mm cordierite stone and it comes out without tools, so it can be cleaned or replaced.

Can it be used indoors?

Only for commercial use, and only with extraction that satisfies EN 203-1. A ventilation specialist should confirm the extract for your site. It is not intended as a domestic indoor oven.

Which accessories fit?

The matching Dome (Gen 2) cover, mantel, door and Neapolitan arch. The Dome Gen 2 Series stand, the full stand cover and the Wood-Fire Control Kit fit both this oven and Dome XL (Gen 2). Do not fit Dome XL mouth pieces on this smaller oven.

Is the Wood-Fire Control Kit required?

No. Gas, wood and charcoal all work without it. The kit is an optional add-on that holds wood off the stone and lets you throttle airflow, including a boost, so a wood fire is easier to hold steady.
