Black mantel for the Dome XL (Gen 2) only. It pushes on and clicks into the front of the oven, with no tools, and gives you a ledge in front of the mouth for turning a pizza, finishing a plate, basting, or checking a dish while the door stays open less. Pans can be turned there, and side dishes can rest in the opening. It does not fit the other Dome size.

The stainless shelf is meant to be wiped down. It is specified as easy to clean and hard-wearing.
